My background and fields of specialization

Patent consultancy
I advice large firms, small start-up companies, and universities. I draft patent applications, make freedom-to-operate analysis, infringement analysis, oppositions, and assist in development of IPR-strategies.

Focus areas and educational background
I am a European Patent Attorney. I have a Master degree from the Technical University of Denmark, DTU with specialization in low energy building. In addition I have a bachelor degree in economics (HD).

Technical fields of specialization
I work with mechanical technology, water and wastewater treatment, medical devices, and civil engineering, including energy systems.

Experience
I have worked as patent attorney since 2001. Previously, I worked as a consulting engineer with research and development projects in the field of low energy systems for buildings.

Recent projects

Recently, I have drafted patent applications for a start-up company and have assisted in the development of their IPR-strategy.

And I have successfully defended two patents in opposition proceedings before the EPO

On a personal note

I enjoy spending time with my family, especially in our holiday house, and as supporter at basketball games and sailing events. Furthermore, I enjoy spending time a volunteer in the local basketball club.
